Tauck Eliminates Some Single Supplements

We don't often talk about predominantly tour companies, such as Tauck Tours, but this is a good time to mention them. Tauck World Discovery is dropping or reducing its single occupancy surcharge on some of its river cruises and tours for 2008. The special rates will apply to 44 departures on 14 river cruise and tour itineraries in the U.S., Europe and Canada.

Tauck has a good history of providing cruising experiences on existing ships. They do Alaska on Crystal, for example, and book space aboard other ships as well. Providing their own group leaders and excursions, they're an excellent tour operator who also delves into cruises for singles, couples and families.
